How I reach the Hotel ?

WESTBAHNHOF

From Germany/France/Netherlands and northern/northwestern European countries by train.
You are lucky! When you arrive in Vienna at the "Westbahnhof", you only have to cross the street, and there you are.

SÜDBAHNHOF

From Italy and southern/southeastern European countries by train.
You take the tram Nr.18 in front of the Südbahnhof and after a 15 minutes ride you arrive at the Westbahnhof.

FLUGHAFEN

There is a bus hourly from 05:40 to 23:40 taking you to the Westbahnhof in 35 minutes (70.- ATS). A taxi will bring you to the hotel in about 30 minutes (approximately 450.- ATS)

CAR

If you arrive from the A1 (western motorway), you go straight ahead until you reach the Guertel. There you turn left (direction "Westbahnhof"). Right after you cross Mariahilferstrasse you see our hotel on the right side. There is a bus-stop 15m (450 feet) behind the Hotel where you can stop to unload your car and check in. Unfortunately we have no garage. but there are 3 parking facilities nearby. The charge for 24 hours is about 130.- ATS .

From the A2 (southern motorway), you take the exit "Guertel" and follow the street until you reach the Westbahnhof.

Generally we recommend not to drive by car in Vienna, because parking space is rare, and the public transport system is nearly perfect.

How do I reach what from the hotel ?

Right in front of the hotel you find one of the biggest nodes of the public transport system in Vienna.

With the U3 subway, it takes you 5 minutes to the Hofburg (The Emperor's Palace) with Vienna Boys choir (2), Spanish riding school (3) and museum of fine arts. (1) The Museumsquartier, and the Leopold Museum, 7 minutes to St.Stephen cathedral (5). The Burgtheater (The Court Theatre) and Rathaus (The Cityhall) are a 4 minutes walk from there, and the famous Staatsoper (4)(The Opera House) is a very nice 5 minutes walk through the Kärntnerstrasse.
The castle of Schönbrunn is 12 minutes by tram Nr.58, and the Belvedere (8) is 15 minutes by tram Nr.18.
The Raimund Theater (Vienna's Musical Theater No.1) is only a 4 minutes walk from the hotel.
The Prater (6) you reach with U3 till Stephansplatz and U1 till Pratersten in about 20min.
To reach the Austria Kongress Zentrum (7) or the Vienna International Center you just take 3 stops more as to the Prater (25min)
